A History of Passion and Commitment
Ca' del Sette winery is a family-run company which has owned vineyards since 1865 and boasts more than 150 years of experience in viticulture,
thanks to the traditions handed down from generation to generation.
From this passion Ca' del Sette is born, a cellar located in an area suited to the vine-growing,
in Vicenza and Verona's renowned D.o.c. and I.G.P wine areas.
Company Philosophy
Ca' del Sette is a young, dynamic cellar whose aim is to keep in touch with both nature
and family traditions handed down from generation to generation in wine growing.
At the same time it is future-oriented, ambitious to grow and experiment, and ready to take any opportunity that the soil and
the new technologies can give it.
The passion and the desire to keep on improving, is closely related to the respect it holds for the environment.
The Environment, a Heritage to preserve
The soil represents our most important capital.
For many years, it has been equipped with specific high technology machines which permit it to cultivate the lands mechanically,
avoiding the usage of chemical products.
Furthermore, through the usage of ecofriendly techniques, it is able to improve the biological balance of the vine.
In the 2017, thanks to the project and subsequent development and realisation of the sewage-treatment facility, it won the award
“Oasis Ambiente 2017 per la sostenibilita”.
The accolade received from the italian Ministry of the Environment Galletti Gian Luca reflects
the special attention the company gives to the respect of the environment.
The Vineyards
The family is landowner and owns equipment and machines which can work autonomously and do all the necessary procedures concerning
the vine growing, plantation, treatments, from pruning to harvest.
Between the charming provinces of Vicenza and Verona in Veneto region, on the slopes of the Lessini mountains, where the
Garda Lake's microclimate influences them, lie the vineyards which boast over 40 years of cultivation.
The vineyards are located on hill and lowland areas, with a density of about 4.000 plants per hectar.
Laboratory
An important choice made by Ca' del Sette, was the construction of an internal laboratory which allows for the control of all the production processes.
The laboratory guarantees a continuous and in real time monitoring of the products during
the receiving of the grapes, the fermentation phases, the pouring, filtration and pre/ post bottling stages,
and the experimental phases for the development of innovative blends.
This choice has been made in order to guarantee a quality standard to the final consumer.
