It takes its name from the Blackbird, a bird with black and shining plumage, yellow-orange beak, and a vivid singing which lives in our area and is very gluttonous of fruits, in particular of Garganega berries, the typical grape growing in the est side of Verona.
It is a real gourmand, because it likes feeding with the best berries and in our case with the sweetest and ripest grapes.
As the blackbird loves eating the most delicious berries, so we, in producing this wine, love selecting the best grapes in order to evoke in the people who taste it the scents and aromas typical of our land.
